and Secular...

NO!....
Naturally programs using government money, need to free
from religion. With a team of top scientists and a really big strainer
I have been successful in my performances to separate church and
state. Many of my programs are designed for schools and libraries,
where ministry is inappropriate, illegal and most importantly - unfunded.
Corporate parties and sales events are usually more secular in nature.
[1] Tupper the Clown Programs
Birthdays! Naturally Birthdays are Perfect for Tupper. After
being silly for a while I make everybody a different Balloon creation.
Magic and Ventriloquism is available and fun for older
groups even though the Balloons are fun for all ages!
Strolling Shows with Balloons are perfect for Fairs, festivals,
and Corporate events Where I blow over a hundred balloons an
hour for large coverage.
Stage Shows at these events usually include large balloons that
people wear! Sometimes called "Tupper Wear"! (note the spelling - or
I'll burp you to keep you fresh.)
Schools and Libraries, use Tupper to teach reading, self-image,
and a variety of character skills. And sometimes just a fun assembly
as a reward or for recognition!
I teach Clown Skills by putting on my make-up and becoming a
clown as I tell stories about clowns through history.
[2] The Imagination Show A Drug-Free Program specially design for Elementary Children!
Children do not really believe that they can die. So scare tactics,
often used in these programs do not keep them from drugs. Nor does a
nice speech at the end of a unrelated performance. This program is fun
and full of balloons, magic, and puppets with the messages
as a part of the tricks and the balloon creations. And the Main message
is: "Use your Imagination instead of Drugs!" Our imaginations
can do anything that the drugs offer but without the danger... The
additional drug information I present is determined by the age of the
group and their situation.
The Imagination Show is often adapted to Libraries because
I add that Reading is a Great way to make your imagination stronger!
I usually make the Librarian a helicopter body suit with a book for
a steering wheel. After all... your Imagination, and Books
can take you anywhere!
[3] Ben Franklin - Electricity Ben Franklin tells the story of electricity from the
Ancient Greek Thalles to modern day electricity. Sounds boring... but
nothing Ben Franklin does is boring! The stories he picks are
important but chosen also for their humor. Naturally he spends quite
a bit of time on his own discoveries and stories. And brings with him
a variety of electricity making devices from his age and a "Van
de Graff" static electric generator from our century (just for fun!)
[4] Ben Franklin - Autobiography
Ben tells his life story, naturally choosing stories that suit his
listeners. The fun stories, the well-known stories, and the not so well-known.
The Kite Story you know by heart...and the one you never heard.
Naturally there are more stories than can be told...so the program can
be focused on one of three area ... personal history, invention,
or political history. All mixed with wild stories he wants to
tell! The mood is interactive, a conversation with Ben,
and when it is over...you feel that you have met a great man.
[5] Professor "B" Looney This Character was originally developed for Baseball Games
to make balloons in the stands. But the need for a human counterpart
to Tupper became important. We needed a silly person that does not
scare small children (as clowns sometimes do.). And one that teens could
enjoy...silly and crazy- Yes.... childish -NO.
So Steve becomes Professor "B" Looney because he can Be Looney
with a Balloonie! And the character also developed an insane teaching
style that works with elementary ages. So another all around fun
and educational character is born!
[6] Stephen Smith - Ventriloquist Story telling with ventriloquism is the best... if you can
imagine two storytellers controlled by one brain... That
would make them both half-wits! This show is mostly stories and
songs for families to enjoy!
Another program delves into the Artform - Ventriloquism
-and teaches about how it works! This sounds like a lecture...but it
isn't. Attempting to explain ventriloquism in the presence of a somewhat
protective Dummie leads to some confrontations and some inadvertent
learning!
But the best show is "The Hand Of God". A program about becoming
a Christian. It is fun filled and somewhat irreverent but with
a powerful ending... Bringing the hand of God into your life!
A Methodist Circuit Rider in the early days of the church.
A historical (and sometimes hysterical) look at the life of a real
man, his childhood and conversion, his ministry and experiences,
and... his stories of faith that comes alive as he conducts an old fashioned
Camp Meeting!
[8] Special Programs
I have special and regional programs that are designed for
a given event or group! Such as:
Summer Reading programs at Libraries...using their theme.
School events that need a professional presenter... to deliver
their ideas!
Church groups that need a Biblical Character to come to life...
And any other Idea that you might have... I write all my programs
myself, so please contact Me
and let me help!
